KIT_MIDI on OSX 10.6.3

    Once again MAC has sabotaged it's relationship with Java.
    For those poor soles trying to get through life on the newest Snow Leopard, you're probably already used to the Terminal fixes!

    It turns out that Java's Serial Library is broken in Java 6 that was installed with this update. you'll need to revert your Java version.

    This is verified here at my house, but was not needed on my 10.6.1 Hackintosh.

    Hi!
    Do you know if this works with Lion 10.7.2 as well... can't get KIT_MIDI_2 to run since I got a mac...

    ok found out by myself.
    in case someone needs to make this work, complete guide is here: http://www.s-seven.net/java_15_lion
    worked fine. KIT_MIDI_2 must run in 32bit mode (check the option in the get info panel.
    Also FTDI driver should be 32 bit I guess... didn't try the 64 bit version.
    otherwise works fine!
