In my video, I was recording live from an Oxygen8, so only one channel at a time.
The crunchy noise in there is from the "buzz filter." It works like this:
ex: for channel1 (squarewave A - mono)...
CC22 > 64 (ex: 90)
CC25 = 0 (rough envelope very small)
CC27 between 64 and 72 (These are different waveforms based on the datasheet "envelope shape")
while playing a noteOn, twiddle CCCC26 between 1 & 18
There's lots of different ways to do this.. CC27 @ 80 & around 118 make an interesting deeper grunge, etc.. CC27@ 100 sounds like high FM synth noise.
