Hi! Thanks for putting the YM_MINI kit out there. I was surprisingly able to assemble it without destroying it. It was a bit of a pain to get the Java stuff worked out in OS X, but once I get that taken care of I was able to get everything working in Ableton Live. It's pretty cool!
The one thing I can't figure out is how to get the envelopes to work. I've been able to trigger the chip with MIDI notation (and switch between L/R/noise etc with different MIDI channels) but I'm kind of confused about the CC stuff. I was able to get CC 28 working for the noise channel, but nothing else. As I try to fiddle with CC 22-27 for the envelope, nothing seems to happen. In Live I've just been using a MIDI clip and the clip's MIDI Ctrl envelope to change the CC's. Any help with this? Thanks!
